A women-led collective of bespoke design and cabinetry creators, PCD Studios’ philosophy is to provide an enjoyable and seamless interior design experience by creating bespoke kitchen and bathroom designs that transform interior spaces to suit their client’s personality and style, grounded in the balance of timeless tradition paired with modern minimalism.

By portraying the perfect combination of old-meets-new, this unique kitchen elevates a traditional farmhouse through simplistic modernity. By emphasizing clean lines and neutral palettes, the vision was to resurrect the charming nostalgia of a traditional farmhouse while ushering in a new generational flare through thoughtfully spotlighted industrial finishings and blended primitive materials. It’s the natural light flooding the space from the skylight in the vaulted ceiling, garden doors and large windows flanking the Thermador range that gives this grand open kitchen it’s warm and welcoming glow. The artful mix of vintage-inspired natural mid-tone wood millwork and floors, brick-lay pattern subway tiled wall and rattan accents is punctuated by sleek stainless-steel and quartz accents.

The architectural details in this space are impressive on so many levels. The high, vaulted angular ceilings feature a unique central sky light that pours abundant natural light over the space, black wood beams, black framed windows, custom cabinets and a large island with sink lends a nod to a traditional farmhouse kitchen with a modern twist. An upholstered bench featuring a comfy channelled back in a durable navy mohair accents the charming antique dining table that’s been cleverly updated with a modern riveted stainless-steel top.

Perfectly suited for a modern farmhouse-style kitchen, the classic Thermador stainless-steel 48” dual fuel gas range crowned with a custom white range hood is flanked by black-framed windows set in a full-height subway-tiled wall. Large storage drawers in white oak are topped with durable Silestone in a soft neutral tone. Floor to ceiling open shelving on either side of the garden doors display kitchen accents and essentials. Chrome wall sconces over the windows illuminate the countertops by the range and a vintage-style chrome and black metal pendant over the island add decorative task lighting to the prep and dining areas.

The creativity of this stunning kitchen design continues on the beautifully designed fridge wall where the integrated fridge and freezer column panels are accented with vintage-inspired icebox detailing complete with stainless=steel hardware for an authentic farmhouse feel. A mirrored backsplash adds a bit of glam to the prep area that features a farmhouse sink and additional storage.
