Select Thermador ovens, sold between June 2004 and July 2007, can have gaps in the insulation where overheating can occur when used in the self-cleaning mode. Nearby cabinets can catch on fire, posing a fire hazard to consumers.

No injuries have occurred but some cases of fire damage has been reported.

Do not put the oven into self-clean until the oven's insulation has been checked, and if necessary repaired, by a Thermador-authorized service technician.

Thermador will inspect, and if necessary repair, the affected ovens free of charge. The parts and service needed to complete the repair will be provided at no cost to you.
