We all know that the heart of the home is found in the kitchen, specifically around the kitchen island or dining table where everyone loves to gravitate. This room is where our true personality and style can be expressed in both practical and creative ways.
The best way to get the most out of any kitchen space is to transform it from a room primarily designed for cooking into a comfortable functional social space for cooking, entertaining and dining. The addition of a traditional dining table and set of chairs can enhance the way you live, cook, and dine in the kitchen. There’s just something comforting about sitting around a dining table for family meals or when entertaining that make the dining experience more intimate and engaging. Islands are great for breakfast bars but they’re not conducive to conversation and personally connecting with each other over a proper meal.
Of course, it all depends on available space but even the addition of a small bistro dining set in a kitchen that features an island, can transform the room into a charming sociable kitchen diner. Check out these kitchen diners for a bit of inspiration.
