How to Run the Ecolytic Cleaning Program
Select steam ovens have an Ecolytic Cleaning program which refreshes the self-cleaning surfaces (sides, ceiling and back panel) of the oven cavity. Refer to your owner’s manual to learn if your oven has this feature.
If you notice the self-cleaning surfaces have dark patches, then it’s time to run the Ecolytic Cleaning program.
Watch the video or follow the instructions below:
1. Make sure the oven is cool and remove all racks, rails, and accessories from the oven cavity. It should be completely empty.
2. Use hot soapy water and a soft cloth to remove the worst spills from the oven cavity.
3. For Professional ovens, turn the function selector to CLEAN MODES. For Masterpiece® ovens, select MENU on the display.
4. Select ECOLYTIC CLEAN on the display.
5. Press CONTINUE.
6. Press START and the cleaning program will begin.
7. Do not block any vents during the cleaning program.
8. Once the program has finished, allow the oven to cool.
9. Wipe down the cavity to remove any cleaning residue with a damp cloth and then dry.
